The Sang Por Sang project is a 1.6-month project funded by FOS Feminista, with the project name Her Healthy Menstrual Cycle (HHMC). The project is being implemented in four wards across two LGAs—Fufore and Namtari—in Adamawa State.
Project Overview
The project focuses on training adolescent girls aged 10–19 on menstrual hygiene, management, and dignity. It also aims at breaking menstrual silence, harmful norms, shame, and stigma, while promoting menstrual dignity among individuals.
Its primary targets are adolescent girls both in and out of school, living within the community.
Achievements include
- Trained 16 adolescent girls as Menstrual Health Champions
- Developed a Menstruation Card Game used to drive meaningful conversations on menstruation
- Conducted 14 mother-daughter sessions in 2025, reaching a total of 420 mothers and daughters across the two LGAs
- Trained over 1,000 adolescent girls on menstrual dignity through peer-to-peer sessions led by champions
